STRONGLY recommend Dr. Zar to anyone looking for a GOOD, HONEST, CARING dentist. I fully agree with the other reviewers that he's got both great technique and also really cares about his patients. If I'm in pain, he makes sure I'm seen quickly. He always follows up after procedures to check on my recovery. And he thinks about the long-term health of my teeth (doesn't cut corners). I would also add that his diagnosis is SPOT ON! I had a tooth that hurt intermittently for months and no dentist could figure out what was wrong. After several dentists and a root canal, when my pain still came back, I finally found Dr. Zar. He found a fracture that no one had spotted and showed it to me. He's saved me from pain many times. And he's got a great sense of humor, which lightens things up! His staff is also on top of things and super nice. Highly recommend Tarzana Dental Care!
